LESSON EXPECTATION

• Students are expected to have well-tuned acoustic piano or keyboard with 88 keys. 

• Consistent practice is essential for progress.  Parents are encouraged to help students develop a regular practice routine.  

• Students should review their assignment pages in the notebook and follow the practice guideline.  

• Nails should be kept short to ensure proper playing technique.  ​

ATTENDANCE AND MISSED LESSONS

• Regular attendance is essential for steady progress. It is the responsibility of students and parents to ensure lessons are attended consistently.

• If a lesson must be cancelled, a minimum of 24-hour advance notice is required.  Cancellations made with less than 24 hour notice are not eligible for a makeup lesson or credit.

• In the event that I need to cancel a lesson, I will  arrange a makeup lesson at a mutually convenient time or apply a credit toward the following month’s tuition.

TUITION

​

Tuition is payable by check or cash in monthly installments.  Tuition is due on the first lesson day of each month.  A $20 late fee will be charged for payments received after 10th of each month.  A  $25 will be charged for returned check.

STUDIO AND STUDIO PROCEDURES

​

• No food or drink is allowed in the studio.  

• Students should arrive on time and bring all required materials, including music books and assignments.

• I reserve the right to terminate piano lessons if a student repeatedly misses lessons, does not practice, or demonstrates a lack of commitment.
